2.External terminal control
Terminal control is a method of controlling inverter operation commands by inputting switch signals from an external input terminal.
These buttons, selector switches, relays, PLCs, or relay modules replace the run, stop, jog, and reset keys on the operator's keyboard, allowing remote control of the operation of the inverter power supply.
The external input control terminal of the inverter power supply receives digital signals. All terminals can be roughly divided into two categories:
①Basic control input
For example, running, stopping, advancing, retreating, jogging, resetting, etc., The functions of these terminals have been calibrated at the factory and cannot be changed.
②Programmable control input
Due to the possibility of receiving dozens of control signals in the inverter power supply, there are not many input control terminals used simultaneously in each driving system. In order to save wiring terminals and reduce volume, the inverter power supply only provides a certain number of "programmable control input terminals", also known as "multifunctional input terminals".
Although its specific functions are also set at the factory, they are not fixed and users can customize them according to their own needs. Common programmable functions such as multi speed control and acceleration/deceleration control.
③Communication control
The method of communication control is the same as the method of communication settings. No need to add wires, just change the transmission data from the host to the inverter power supply to achieve inverter power supply inversion, jog, fault reset, etc. Control.
In order to establish communication correctly, parameters related to communication, such as station number, baud rate, parity, etc. It must be set in the inverter power supply.
The host communicates with the inverter power supply in master-slave mode. The host is the host, and the inverter power supply is the slave. There can only be one host in a network. The host distinguishes different slaves through station numbers, and the slaves only receive data sent after the host reads and writes commands.
