DIW-2025 (Type A, B, C)) DC insulation monitoring relay is a relay that monitors the insulation of the DC bus, and sends a warning signal when the insulation of the bus to the ground is reduced to a certain value.
Structure and working principle.
The relay mainly consists of a balance resistor and a detecting integrated circuit. When the resistance of the DC bus on both sides to the ground is equal, no current flows through the detection circuit and the relay does not operate.
When the insulation resistance value of either side of the positive or negative busbarn when it is greater than or equal to the set value (correspondingly, the ground resistance value is less the drops, an unbalanced current flows through
the detection circuit. At this time, the detection circuit compares the current withthe set current value, and pushes the relay action or equal to the set value), and sends an alarm signal. When there is a ground fault, the corresponding open
point becomes a closed point.
