1.The fluctuation value of the input mains power provided by the user for the UPS is generally smaller than the nominal allowable mains fluctuation value of the UPS;
2. The UPS front stage and load circuit cannot be equipped with a circuit breaker with leakage protection, so as to avoid accidental power failure of the UPS and its load. The live parts in the line, such as sockets, circuit breakers, etc., should not be frequently plugged, opened and closed;
3. From the perspective of safe electricity use, the design of input and output power distribution should consider that the neutral line (especially the main line) cannot be interrupted;
4. When doing UPS power distribution, the neutral line of UPS output (i.e., load) cannot be connected to the neutral busbar of input power distribution. Some brands of UPS, such as APC silicon series, can connect the input neutral line and the output (load) neutral line to the same busbar;
5. The UPS input circuit breaker is designed to individually control the on-off of the UPS input power, so the lower port of the UPS input circuit breaker should not be connected to other electrical equipment, so as not to affect the normal on-off of the UPS input power;
6. When selecting input and output circuit breakers for the UPS, firstly, the nominal rated voltage of the circuit breaker is required to conform to the rated input and output voltage of the UPS;
7. The selection of the wire diameter of the UPS input and output connection is also based on the maximum current of each phase. Considering that there may be third harmonic currents on the neutral line in the three-phase equipment, so the three-in-one-out and three-in-three-out zero lines (especially It is the output neutral wire) wire diameter should not be smaller than the wire diameter of phase A (three-in-single-out phase A is usually designated as bypass power). The diameter of the protective ground wire is generally required to be the same as that of the A-phase wire;
8. The connection between the UPS and the external long-delay battery should not be too long; otherwise the voltage drop lost on the battery connection will be too large. In addition, users often pay great attention to the ambient temperature and humidity in which the UPS host works, and placing the battery together with the host can make the battery also get a good working environment;
9. The user's load distribution should preferably adopt the hierarchical multi-channel control method. When an over current or short circuit occurs in a branch at the end, it will not cause power failure of other branches in the same level or the electrical equipment of the previous level, and the total rated current value of the circuit breaker of the next level should not be greater than 130 of the previous level. %, in order to avoid that when each branch circuit breaker of the next level is not fully loaded or overloaded (the circuit breaker does not trip), the circuit breaker of the previous level is tripped due to overload, so that all loads lose power;
10. It is recommended that the user set up a separate switchboard for the UPS and its loads, so as to facilitate centralized and reliable control of the UPS and the loads it protects. This switchboard must comply with relevant national standards;
11. When the user is doing UPS load power distribution, the UPS load special socket and the non-UPS load socket have obvious distinction signs;
12. When doing load power distribution, be sure to check the polarity of the zero and live wires of the UPS load socket, and cannot be reversed;
13. In order for the UPS to operate in a good environment, it is necessary to provide a suitable working environment temperature, and an air conditioner can be installed if necessary;
14. For large and medium-sized UPS, the floor bearing problem should be considered during installation;
15. For the UPS external battery, it is not necessary for the user to install it by himself, and it is generally installed by the UPS manufacturer or agent;
16. For users who require 24-hour uninterrupted operation of the UPS, it is necessary to configure a separate maintenance bypass distribution box for the UPS;
17. Inductive loads are not allowed to be connected to the UPS circuit, so as to avoid impact on the UPS.
