Summary:
The results showed that for carbon materials with an addition of more than 1.5%, the electrode plate lead paste almost completely peeled off after conventional process formation without the addition of adhesives and inhibitors (Figure 1a), confirming that high carbon content has a significant impact on the structure and properties of the active substances in the electrode plate. When the carbon content is reduced or appropriate adhesives are added, the condition of the electrode plate after formation is significantly improved (Figure 1b and Figure 1c), but it still cannot be completely solved. Adding a hydrogen evolution inhibitor to the electrolyte can be seen from Figure 1d that the hydrogen evolution inhibitor has a promoting effect on hydrogen evolution after 0.02%, and has a significant inhibitory effect at a content of 0.05%. However, during formation, the negative electrode bubbles significantly and cannot be used alone. Corresponding defoamers must be used simultaneously.
